On December 5th, 2013 director Bryan Singer announced via Twitter the next X-Men movie to follow in the franchise - X-Men: Apocalypse!

With a simple tweet of #Xmen #Apocalypse 2016! the director had heads spinning. As the next film in the successful series, X-men Days of Future Past, still a few months away from release it is slightly shocking that this info would be announced.

A few days later Bryan followed that with a picture from a creative meeting:

This just hit the net, the 2:18 min trailer for the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past!
Wolverine, Professor X, Magneto and the of the heroic mutants are back for a new installment of this popular superhero franchise. Jump into the trailer below:

Lots of exciting news about X-Men: Days Of Future Past and we still have a long way to go until the movie’s release date of May 23, 2014. Entertainment Weekly shares some hot new images from the upcoming superhero flick. Seen are Magneto (Ian McKellen/Michael Fassbender) Professor X (James McAvoy/Patrick Stewart), Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage) and Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence).

To promote the X-men: Days of Future Past trailer that is set to debut online Tuesday, November 29th, a teaser clip featuring characters like Wolverine, Storm, Beast and Professor X has been posted on Instagram. The sneak peek vid is only a few seconds long but shows you just enough to get you excited for the big trailer reveal.

Are you ready for this? Social media master Bryan Singer shares another picture from the set of the movie he's directing; X-men: Days of Future Past. This time he shares a super hot pic of the luscious Jennifer Lawrence as X-Villain Mystique. She is body painted in the familiar blue-skin tone that Mystique is known for.

X-Men Days of Future director Bryan Singer is my hero. His masterful social media use is incredible. This guy gets that social media more than a marketing tool. He's really on top of keeping fans connected to what he's doing on set and it keeps me watching his twitter for new updates from the movie. Recently he's posted some first look pictures of cast members Ellen Page as Kitty Pryde and James McAvoy as Charles Xavier on twitter and a Vine video revealing some characters that will be in the movie (Blink and Warpath).




Hopefully Bryan keeps this up. I'm liking it and sure as hell interested in what's going on with this movie.

Following X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer via social media is a perfect example in using the platform for creating awareness for a movie. Singer has been regularly revealing tidbits and info about the newest X-Men: Days of Future Past movie.




Now, Singer has posted via his twitter an incredible image of pregnant Halle Berry who returns as Storm for the fourth time. Not one of the costumes that Storm has been seen in before, but a more realistic, gritty look for the powerful mutant, which is the tone of this classic X-Men story.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is set to be released July 18, 2014. Singer can be followed HERE.
