Loki is one of the most popular characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. After his appearances in the Thor and Avengers movies, Loki has become the bad guy everyone loves. Loki Funko POP vinyl figures are also quite popular as some of the exclusives of this character have went one to command high dollars on the secondary market.

On Agents of SHIELD’s March 11th episode, one of my favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe characters, Lady Sif, makes a guest appearance! Reprising her role from Thor and  Thor: The Dark World Jaimie Alexander is back again as the Asgardian warrior.

The upcoming Thor: The Dark World Blu-Ray release features a Marvel One-Shot, a short film, titled All Hail The King. The 14-minute movie sees the return of Ben Kingsley’s Trevor Slattery aka The Mandarin from Iron Man 3. In All Hail The King an interviewer sits down with Trevor to find out what who he really is and what he knows about the mysterious 10 Rings.

As the countdown to the November 7th release of Thor: The Dark World, AMC Theaters chain has announced that they will celebrate the movie with a “Thorsday” marathon. Thor 3D, The Avengers 3D return to the big screen leading up to the debut Thor: The Dark World. More info below:

Awesome clip from the red carpet premiere of Thor: The Dark World. The premiere took place in London's Leicester Square on October 22rd. Stars from the movie packed the read carpet for the superhero sequel. The clip includes Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Kat Dennings, Idris Elba, Jonathan Howard, Christopher Eccleston, Kevin Feige and a-blink-and-you’ll-miss-him Avengers 2 director Joss Whedon.

As you know the new Marvel movie, Thor: The Dark World, is coming out soon. November 8th in the US, actually. Funko continues their line POP! vinyl figures based on the Marvel Cinematic Universe with a new set of three figures! We have a Thor, Loki and Dark Elf. Have a look at the pictures:

I think the stand out one in this set is the Loki POP! He looks menacing and mischievous, so perfectly Loki. The figures are due to come out in October to coincide with the movie and can be pre-ordered here via Entertainment Earth.

Empire Magazine is going hard on the Thor promo with four different covers of the October issue spotlighting the upcoming Marvel movie, Thor: The Dark World. With two Thor and two Loki, you have an opportunity to choose which you like best or, as I’m sure the main reason to pull this gimmick, buy all four variants of the issue. Scope out the goods here:

I think they are kinda cool. I don’t usually buy into this type of marketing, but if you are really into Thor: The Dark World, these are right up your alley. The new trailer for the upcoming Thor movie, Thor: The Dark World has hit the internet.
