I was fortunate to make it out to the Godzilla convention in Chicago called G-fest last weekend. I was only able to hit the show for a couple of hours, I was actually working across the street at the Exxxotica convention, but I was able to grab some pictures. Check them out below:

There has been A long wait to see the trailer of the new Godzilla 2014 Movie, now that we've all have seen the movie trailer & got all pumped-up, we wait for cool merchandise... right! I'm sure as toy collectors we knew some awesome toys were going be in production very soon. We heard rumors of NECA & Bandai making these toys. 

Well, the rumors are ture and there's proof now! Toys R Us placed some of these toys on the shelves a little bit earlier than expected. They started to hit the Internet little by little with people posting pictures of their scores. There's a few toys that range between $14.99 to $34.99, but the main attraction to hit the shelves with the title "Godzilla" on it is the Giant Size, over 40 inches from head to tail monster Godzilla! This guy is a beast. He's made by Jakks Pacific. He comes with a swinging tail and 12 points of articulation. He retails for $44.99. At this moment, he is kind of rare. Once the store gets them, They're gone!

Entertainment Earth has all the toys for presale for a release date of May 2014. But you can get them now at Toys R Us and Toys R Us online. Included in the Bandai line is Atomic Roar Godzilla, Godzilla Deconstruction Pack, Godzilla Fighting Tail Strike, Godzilla Fighting Bite & Thrash.

So while cruising on Amazon to add some Godzilla DVDs to my ever growing collection I happened across a listing for Godzilla-Complete Animated Series. Well, now this just took me by surprise. I guess it should not had, being that the big budget summer movie is heading our way rather quickly, but still I had not heard about the animated series’ release until now.

Easily one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2014 is Godzilla. Today a new trailer has ben released that is nothing short of jaw dropping. Don't believe me? Watch it below.

Are you anxiously awaiting the upcoming Godzilla movie? I am. I am a huge fan of the movies and over the summer revisited a lot of the classic films from the series. I even had the opportunity to visit my first Godzilla convention, which was quite an experience all together. So as one would imagine I am very excited about the new film set to be released next year on May 16. The trailer for the movie directed by Gareth Edwards and starring Bryan Cranston has been released and you can watch it below.
