Viper, Silver Samurai and Jean Grey! Just released online is the latest trailer for The Wolverine starring Hugh Jackman. The nearly two and a half minute trailer amps up the action and show more of the characters. It begins with a nightmare recalling the events of X-Men The Last Stand, and a haunting Jean Grey (Famke Janssen). We are then hit with some story hints, that Logan may have his healing power removed, leaving him vulnerable. Check out the trailer here:



Nicely done trailer, the action comes across really good. Silver Samurai looks pretty imposing and someone I wouldn't want to mess with. After Wolverine: Origins, I didn't quite have faith in another solo installment of Wolvy, but this is shaping up nicely. Hello My Heroes

Finally, images of Funko's Batman '66 POP! vinyl figures have made it online! I've been looking forward to this set for awhile now. Based on the classic television show, the first wave features Batman (Adam West), Robin (Burt Ward), Joker (Caesar Romero) and Catwoman (Julie Newmar).









This assortment is perfect! If you were to ask me who I wanted to see produced first, this would be the line-up. Funko has done a brilliant job with these figures, really capturing a fun likeness to the characters. Bloody hell, even the Joker has his mustache.

I can't wait for this set to come out. Amazon has them available for pre-order now with a release date of  September 26, 2013. You may want to order now so you'll have them when they come out.

Are you ready to get the team back together? Yes, we may be awhile away from Avengers 2, but in the meantime Marvel is getting the group of superheroes back together for a new animated series.

Taking it's tone straight from the Marvel Cinematic Universe the team is comprised of heroes from the Avengers movie - Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Iron Man as well as The Falcon who will be seen in the upcoming Captain America: The Winter Solider film.

Here is promo image of the show that will be previewed on May 26th and begin airing in July.


I'm looking forward to seeing how much this ties in with the Marvel Cinematic U. I doubt that it's a gap-bridger between Avengers and Avengers 2, but we'll see.

The recent Superman: Unbound DVD/Blu-Ray release comes with a ten minute preview of the next DC Universe Animated movie, Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox. The preview talks with the director and talents that are involved with the movie. Though not much is revealed in the piece, it does give a few glimpses of the upcoming movie. Here are some screengrabs of the character designs and some with the name of the stars who are voicing the characters.

As well, posted on the DC Comics blog is an official image of Flashpoint, which give you a nice look at The Flash and Batman.



I just re-read the Flashpoint series and it's pretty damn good.

Hello Horror Fans!

I have some awesome news! My friends at Titan Merchandise have announced another installment in their line of Hammer Films Masterpiece Collection Maxi Bust. These incredible collectibles are about 8 inches tall and feature the iconic characters of Hammer Films. The latest one making it's debut in November is the evil Dr. Frankenstein as played by Horror superstar Peter Cushing.

I have the first three that were released Christopher Lee as Dracula, Peter Cushing as Van Helsing and Ingrid Pitt as Countess Dracula. These are some of my favorite pieces of my collection. They are simply brilliant. I actually reviewed them all and you can see the videos on my Youtube page HERE.

It's not everyday you see a prolific cosplayer on the red carpet of a hollywood movie premiere, but when you are one of the movie's stars, it's to be expected. I'm talking about Tanya Tate of course

Tanya stars in the Deborah Anderson documentary Aroused which goes in-depth as an internationally famous adult actress. Tanya is the reigning Xbiz MILF of the Year, Nightmoves MILF of the Year and SHAFTA MILF of the Year award winner, so when then movie notes that it is about "16 of the world's most successful adult film stars," they aren't kidding.

Tanya is a well known cosplayer who has been seen at Comic Con, Wondercon, Power Con, Geek Media Expo and so many other conventions dressed in popular Marvel and DC Comics characters. She has even created a photo book Tanya Tate: My Life In Costume which features her as The Invisible Woman, Electrawoman, Emma Frost, Green Lantern and more.

A new character poster for The Wolverine has been revealed and it is of one of the movie's villains - The Silver Samurai. Take a look at it right here:

With less than a week away from the release of the new Warner Bros Animated movie Superman Unbound, we are treated to another clip from the direct to video flick.

In this we see Lois Lane (voiced by Stana Katic) being taken hostage, but seems very at ease durning the situation. Maybe it's because she know that someone with a big red "S" on their chest is about to come save her. Here is the clip:

The countdown to the end of Arrow season one is on! There are only a few more episodes left and #21, The Undertaking, airs tonight on the CW. Here is a synopsis and preview trailer:

It's Hammer Time again. More Thor: The Dark World news strikes down as the trailer for the upcoming sequel to Thor makes it's way online. The 2 minute trailer features some incredible imagery and returning characters Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Jaimie Alexander as Sif and Anthony Hopkins as Odin.

Thor: The Dark World is directed by Alan Taylorand and set to be released on November 8th.

Following X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer via social media is a perfect example in using the platform for creating awareness for a movie. Singer has been regularly revealing tidbits and info about the newest X-Men: Days of Future Past movie.




Now, Singer has posted via his twitter an incredible image of pregnant Halle Berry who returns as Storm for the fourth time. Not one of the costumes that Storm has been seen in before, but a more realistic, gritty look for the powerful mutant, which is the tone of this classic X-Men story.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is set to be released July 18, 2014. Singer can be followed HERE.

The God of Thunder returns in Thor: The Dark World, the sequel to 2011's Thor. Set to be released on November 8th of this year, the superhero flick is directed by Alan Taylorand sees Chris Hemsworth returning to the role. Also coming back is Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Tom Hiddleston as Loki and Anthony Hopkins as Odin.



The poster has debuted courtesy of the Thor Facebook page and depicts the Avenger emerging from a storm with lightning striking around him and his hammer, Mjolnir.

Hot damn. The latest trailer for the upcoming Superman movie, Man of Steel, delivers the goods. The three minute trailer gives you everything you need to make sure you get yourself to a theatre on June 14th.

The first time around, I wasn't taken in by the initial trailer. I made mention of that before, here. But this...this is just awesome. Watch it HERE:

Right from the start we see Krypton and Jor-el, and even glimpses of the Fortress of Solitude.

By the two minute mark, I was happy. BUT there is still another minute to go! ...and we get...ZOD. Nice to know he's still pissed off. "I will find him!" the threatens referring to the Son of Jor-el.

We find out what the "S" on his chest stands for, explosions of what looks like Metropolis getting blasted and a tease of the Superman/Zod throwdown that'll probably win an 2014 MTV for Best Fight of the Year.

Lots of incredible imagery. I really think Kevin Costner is going to shine in this film. Perfect casting as Pa Kent.

The only thing that could have made this trailer better would have been a cameo by Batman. Suffice, to say I really dug it. I think MOS still has a ways to catch up on the Iron Man 3 social media front, but it looks like the marketing team just kicked things into overdrive.

Directed by Zach Synder and starring Henry Cavali, Man of Steel flies into theaters on June 14th.

The Warner Bros. Youtube page released a new TV spot for Man of Steel. The video is only 32 seconds and looks to be comprised of clips that we have already seen. The coolest part is Kal-El (Henry Cavill) asking the question “My father believed that if the world found out who I really was, they’d reject me. He was convinced that the world wasn’t ready. What do you think?”
