Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD return on March 3rd for the second half of their second season and to give you a taste of what’s coming up a trailer was posted on the IGN Youtube channel. Looks like The Inhumans are going to factor in a lot more. Watch the trailer below.
Want to see the first 2 minutes of this week’s Marvel’s Agents of Shield episode? Well, ABC has graciously decided to share them. The episode is titled Nothing Personal and features the return of Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill. The clip contains some cool interaction with Hill and my favorite character in the show Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen).
Minute and a half clip from this week’s episode that features Col. Talbot vs. the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and a nice surprise cameo at the end of the video. Watch below:
On Agents of SHIELD’s March 11th episode, one of my favorite Marvel Cinematic Universe characters, Lady Sif, makes a guest appearance! Reprising her role from Thor and Thor: The Dark World Jaimie Alexander is back again as the Asgardian warrior.
We have 11 exciting images from the upcoming episode below:
Looks like Agents of SHIELD will be turning things up a notch with the second half of this, the first season. A new 30 second promo video has been released that features some exciting teases of what is to come. Focusing on #ItsAllConnected and “Uprising” tagline it appears that Agents of SHIELD is going to tie itself more into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
I don’t want to give anything away so have a look for yourself at the video below:
The Marvel Cinematic Universe is passing the Marvel Comics Universe in terms of how many characters are represented in POP! form. Just announced is Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Phil Coulson! Want to see the figure? Look below!
This new three minute trailer for the upcoming Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is actually pretty happening. I'll be the first to admit that I wasn't on board with this idea. I didn't like the little mini-movie Item 47 and this initially felt derivative of the Marvel Cinematic U, because you know you're not going to see any of the stars. So, I think that's why I wasn't buying into it. But having watched this trailer, I'm a little more receptive. I'm not sold on it just yet, but we'll see.
In this trailer, while we do see some of the same clips we've seen before, we do get a little more. Check it out:
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is coming to the ABC network this September.
Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films, as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. Coulson's team consists of Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), highly trained in combat and espionage; Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen), expert pilot and martial artist; Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker), brilliant engineer; and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge), genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker, Skye (Chloe Bennet).
This weekend it seemed like every few hours there was some news on the upcoming Agents of SHIELD television series. It started with a promo cast shot and before I could even start writing about that, a vine clip, synopsis, twitter account and 2 youtube videos hit the net. The ABC series is hitting hard, which I can appreciate.
Let's start with the cast promo still. Obviously Agent Phil Coulson is alive and well.
Here is the official synopsis: Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker Skye (Chloe Bennet).
From Executive Producers Joss Whedon (“Marvel’s The Avengers,” ”Buffy the Vampire Slayer”); Jed Whedon & Maurissa Tancharoen, “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” pilot co-writers (“Dollhouse,” “Dr.Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog”); Jeffrey Bell (“Angel,” “Alias”); and Jeph Loeb (“Smallville”) comes Marvel’s first TV series. “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” is produced by ABC Studios and Marvel Television.
Now here are those promo clips:
Personally, I'm on the fence. For me this could go either way. This series is heavily leaning on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as evident by the promo clips, but aside from Agent Phil Coulson, I don't really have any interest in these characters. And while I do like Clark Gregg's Coulson, he makes an awesome secondary character, but as a main? I don't know. I'm hoping this series kicks ass, We'll see. What are your thoughts? Excited or not?
