The other day I wrote about the upcoming documentary about the never made Superman Lives movie. Well, I have an update on another upcoming documentary based on a superhero film. This one is called Doomed: The Untold Story of Roger Corman's "The Fantastic Four” and details the the history of the troubled 1994 Concord-New Horizon's/Constantin Films' "The Fantastic Four.”
Back in 1994 a Fantastic Four movie was made but never released. It was directed by Oley Sassone and starred Alex Hyde-White as Mister Fantastic, Jay Underwood as The Human Torch, Rebecca Staab as Invisible Woman, Michael Bailey Smith as Ben Grimm and Carl Ciarfalio as the Thing.
Produced by Mark Sikes and directed by Marty Langford, Doomed takes a look at the unreleased movie and talks to the key members of the cast and crew to reveal what happened.
On the film’s official Facebook page they have teased that things are going to soon be heating up and an official poster for Doomed: The Untold Story of Roger Corman's "The Fantastic Four” has been released. Here it is.
