The geek personality officially launches her line of figures at the annual pop-culture event.

(Hollywood, CA) Hot on the heels of her Geek Media Expo appearance in Nashville, cosplay superstar Tanya Tate is back in Los Angeles for an exciting weekend that sees her debuting a customizable vinyl figure line, My Hero Toys (http://www.myherotoys.com) at Stan Lee’s Comikaze. This weekend, October 31st through November 2nd, the noted geek blogger will be suiting up in her sexy superhero costumes to show off her labor of love My Hero Toys at Booth #431. 

“It’s been a long journey to get these figures made,” said Tanya. “But it was well worth it. The My Hero Toy figures look great and I think I’m introducing a fun product into the designer vinyl hobby.”

To introduce My Hero Toys to the masses, Tanya has created a My Hero Toys promo video. The video can be seen here:


Custom creations by artists will be on display at the My Hero Toys booth, to inspire and encourage fans to try their hand at creating something with the figures. 

Stan Lee’s Comikaze is set to take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center located at 1201 S Figueroa Street in Downtown Los Angeles. More information about Tanya’s appearance at the show can be found in her Comikaze promo video:

While at Stan Lee’s Comikaze, Tanya will be cosplaying as popular superheroes. “I’ll definitely be suiting up as my creation, Lady Titan,” said Tanya. “But as for the other costumes I’ll be wearing, I asked my followers on Twitter and will see what they recommend. More than likely, I’ll be in a body-hugging catsuit.”

My wife collects the Game of Thrones Funko POP! vinyl figures and I knew she was missing this pretty cool set from her collection. It’s the three dragons, Drogon, Rhaegal, and Viserion. I ordered it from Amazon and if you want to get your hands on this neat set you can do it here.

I have a new video review that I wanted to share with you! This time I will be unboxing the Doctor Who Companions action figure box set from Underground Toys. This set is very special to me and I talk a little bit about why in the video. So, let’s take a look at my video review.

Here is something cool I got in the mail today. A Glow-In-The-Dark Hong Kong Phooey Wacky Wobbler. I’m not the biggest collector of Wacky Wobblers but I do have a few based on the properties I like, mainly Krofft characters Pufnstuf, Witchiepoo and Sleestaks. When the opportunity arose for me to get my hands on this Hong Kong Phooey wobbler, I jumped.

I’ll post up review of this Wacky Wobbler in the future, but for right now I thought I would share.

Have you seen my latest Funko POP! vinyl figure review? In this one I take a look at the Gemini Collectibles exclusive Hong Kong Phooey figure in Black Robes. I talked about this POP! before, about how cool I thought it was going to be. Well, I ordered one and now, I’ll take this exclusive vinyl figure out of the box and share it with you. You a fan of the simplistic style of action figures from 70s/80s? Remember those old 3 3/4-inch scale Kenner figures, how they would have limited articulation, but be incredibly cool? That throwback style has been making a comeback and now nostalgic fans can enjoy new and re-imagined series.

Zica Toys has revisited that era with a Six Million Dollar Man series of “Retro Action Figures”. Shockingly, I didn’t know that these were available until recently. I have purchased Zica product before (I have the incredible 8-inch “Mego” style Buck Rogers figures), so I’m a little taken aback I was out of the loop on this. Let’s take a look at the figures:

I have not yet gotten in to Funko’s Hikari Sofubi series of high-end vinyl figures just yet (I’m still trying to play catch-up on POP!s, LOL) but this Entertainment Earth exclusive is really tempting me! It’s a distressed Frankenstein and it looks incredible. Take a look at the pic below:
