I have something that I just have to share with you! Ok, so you all know of my love for POP vinyl figures, right? I have been doing reviews of them for years and while I have unboxed a lot of them, it was always hard to display them. Well, I changed all that by buying a glass case and some acrylic risers. Now, I have the proper way to display Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Snow White, Cinderella, Peter Pan and the rest. So, I thought I would make a mega unboxing video, LOL. I open up and display 80 Disney POP vinyl figures in this video, watch it below and enjoy.
Today I am going to be taking a look at a cool exclusive. It’s John Cena with Green Hat and Wristbands. This one is a WWE Exclusive. I got mine when I went to a RAW show. As you may already know, the John Cena figure was originally released with Blue accents. But let’s have a look at the exclusive, shall we?
Hey Funko fans! It's Phil from Poppin' Off About Funko's Facebook Group. Hollywood Gone Geek asked me to get a list together of my favorite Funko SDCC scores. So, here is my list...
We have seen Funko reveal week after week their upcoming exclusives for San Diego Comic Con. We were very excited to see glam shots of all these wonderful exclusives Funko would be selling at their famous booth at SDCC. There were also other Exclusives I was excited about from Fugitive, Crazy Cay Collectibles, Toy Tokyo & POP! Asia.
Well, after battling the Funko booth and a couple others at Comic Con. I had a lot of these gems in hand. Here are my favorites after seeing these exclusives in person.
Wampa-Luke 2-Pack from Star Wars
This set is amazing! The super-sized Wampa with his cut off arm by Luke’s lightsaber is great! Luke had some new detail as well with some battle scar blood. This is a must have for any Star Wars fan! Funko used the force with this and did a really cool job of bringing the Hoth scene to the vinyl-toy world.
Huckleberry Hound from Hanna Barbera
Funko first revealed this exclusive with the original release artwork. As it turned out the Comic Con exclusive was the dark blue variant. The Hound is a limited edition of only 480 pieces. So if you have one of these in your collection, it's a totally good thing. I was really excited to pick up this Hanna-Barbera Pup! There were also 6 colored variants at Funko’s FunDays that were a limited edition of only 24 each (those were not for sale, the FunDays variants are priceless).
Toy Tokyo Gold Batmobile
Okay, so technically my next pick was not revealed by Funko, the Gold Batmobile was a Toy Tokyo exclusive. It's a limited edition of only 300 pieces. The Gold Batmobile comes with a red Batman Hero Pop. These were very limited at Comic Con as they sold out within the first 45 minutes each day. Batman looks really pimped-out in his gold ride! This was the ultimate score for me, as I’m a huge Batman fan!
Toy Tokyo Antique Skeletor Hikari
Yes, another Toy Tokyo Exclusive made my favorite list! What can I say, Toy Tokyo also revealed some really amazing pieces. This Hikari figure has an incredible silver/black/gold paint job. These Hikari figures are handmade and crafted by a wonderful company called MindStyle. This figure measures about 6 inches tall and this particular piece is a limited edition of only 300 pieces.
Beat Up Jesse Pinkman from Breaking Bad
I’m a fan of the award winning show Breaking Bad. I thought this beat-up Jesse was a great variant. I actually like this Comic Con exclusive better than the original release of Jesse. Damn, Tuco really did a job on this guy! This figure is an limited-edition of 2500 pieces.
Fugitive White Lantern Batman
Ok, so this next favorite was not even at SDCC, but I’m going to throw him in there for a couple of reasons. 1, he’s VERY cool and 2, he was a part of a SDCC Fugitive Exclusive 7-pack that I got right after Comic Con. This White Lantern Batman was the Mystery figure in the 7-pack! Hopefully we see a glow-in -the -dark version next.
Pop! Asia Hopping Ghost Series
These were at the MindStyle booth at SDCC. These creepy Gold exclusives are too cool! There are 4 figures in the set… Prime Minister, The Sheriff, Little Prince & The Judge. Funko & MidStyle teamed up on this project as well. All I can say is… the paint application on these vinyls are wonderful! Flawless! I’m happy to add these guys to my collection.
Sten Lee SDCC Version
I have never been a fan of the Stan Lee Pop! figures until I saw this one. Finally, a SDCC version of Stan the man! This Stan Exclusive was at the Crazy Cat Collectibles booth for $25. I couldn't pass him up!
I hope you guys got to score some SDCC Funko Exclusives of your own.
Until next year guys….

Today I will be reviewing a cool collectible from my friends at Full Moon Entertainment! Ah, do you love the Puppet Master series? Those horror movies are fun to watch and are prone to leave you with some frightmares, LOL. Well, one of the main puppets was Blade. He was seen in the entire series and now we have a bobblehead of him available! Let’s take a look at him, shall we?
I am back again with another Funko POP! vinyl review! In this video I’ll be taking a look at a character that is near and dear to my heart. From Disney series 5 is Mary Poppins. I love it. I have been very excited about this figure since it was first announced and was finally able to get my hands on her, courtesy of one my fans. Want to watch the review? It’s posted below!
I thought it was about time I do another video review, LOL. It’s been awhile, I know. In this one I’ll take a look at the Fugitive Toys exclusive Blue Lantern The Flash POP! vinyl Figure from Funko. In the DC Comics series, The Flash is given a Blue Lantern ring and now we have a figure for it. This was a limited Fugitive Toys exclusive that I was able to pick up at Wondercon. There are two versions; a regular and metallic. Let’s have a look at the figures, shall we?
Uploaded a new video review for you! This week I take a look at the White Walker Funko POP! vinyl figure from series one of the Game of Thrones line. I have been working my way through this line of figures (which you can see right here) but they have been coming out too fast LOL, I can hardly keep up. Ok, here is the video review posted below:
I have a brand new video review for you! This week I take a look at the Alamo City Comic Con exclusive Batman Funko POP! vinyl figure. Based on the Batman television show from the 60’s that starred Adam West as Batman. As you know I have been reviewing the entire series of figures that have been released. I have posted video reviews of The Joker, Catwoman and the Batmobile with Batman. Continuing, we have the metallic variant that of Batman that was available only at the ACCC. Let’s have a look at the video below:
Ready for a new video review? This week I take a look at the Tyrion Lannister POP! vinyl figure from Funko’s Game of Thrones series. I have been reviewing series one of Game of Thrones and I am loving this line. Funko has really but in a lot of detail when it comes to these vinyl figures. Let’s have a look at my review, shall we?
#REVIEW: Tanya Tate Reviews The Hot Topic Exclusive Hipster Belle POP Vinyl Figure From The Disney Series
If you have been following me on twitter you would know that I have been extremely busy the last few weeks. So I have not been able to shoot any new Funko POP! video reviews. With so much cool stuff coming out, I thought I would do a written review. Not as fun, but still you get to see some great pictures of the new stuff that is out now.
Today we’ll take a look at the Hot Topic exclusive Hipster Belle from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. I reviewed Belle and the Beast figures a long time ago when I first started to make POP! video reviews, so it’s a bit of fun to revisit her in this new variant.
What is all the “Hipster” business? Well, its started as an Ariel The Little Mermaid meme. Hipsters fancy themselves as the cooler-than-you lot. When you google “what is a hipster” you get “a person who follows the latest trends and fashions,” but I think it’s a little more than that. Anything somewhat cool is old to them and they look to be obscure as though it gives them some sort of “street cred”.
An annoying lot, in short, LOL. So, someone created a “Hipster Ariel” based on a screen grab of the mermaid wearing “nerd” type glasses that hipsters are prone to wear to take the piss. It because very well known in pop culture leading to the other Disney Princesses getting the hipster treatment and we now have Belle, hipsterized in Funko POP form!
Bloody hell, enough with the backstory and let’s get to the review!
I wanted to share a new magazine that I have found called Cool and Collected. For collectors like me it is a fun read. The magazine is 60 pages in full colour and is packed with articles. This first issue covers pop culture books, Super Powers figures, Lord of the Rings, Superman, Spock and so much more. The articles are lively and that is a main selling point for me. I love reading about what people collect and this really does com across as a labour of love.
I like the idea of a magazine like this. Sure, I can find images online quickly, but there is something great about having a tangible magazine that I can flip thru and hold in my hand.
If you want to order your copy of Cool and Collected you can have a look at the website here: http://coolandcollected.com.
LMK if you are going to order a copy of if you already have it, what you think by leaving a comment below. You can also contact me via Twitter - @TanyaTate.

Happy New Year! As you know I love collecting Funko POP! vinyl figures. I have loads of them and have had a great time reviewing them for the last couple of years. I thought I would do something special to celebrate the end of the year and share with you my list Top 10 POP! Vinyl Figures of the 2013.
Are you ready? Lets have a look!
Hello Heroes and Villains!
Here is my latest video review! I open up and unbox Batman’s arch-nemesis, The Joker! This POP! vinyl figure from Funko perfectly represents the baddie looked on the classic Batman television show from the ‘60s. The actor who portrayed The Joker was Cesar Romero and I talk a little about that in the video. You may notice I do a bit of Cosplay in this video as well! I slipped into my Julie Newmar inspired version of Catwoman, who was also from the 60‘s Batman television show. So, let’s have a look shall we?
Do you collect Doctor Who? You know I moan about how little space I have for my collectibles, but then fall in love with a new line, LOL! These Doctor Who vinyl figures from Titan Merchandise are awesome! They are little blind box figures, which means they come randomly. When you buy a box you don’t know what you are getting. This set features characters from the 10th Doctor series. Let’s take a look at the video shall we?
